On Saturday 8th July Anna Kennedy Online partnered with JT Foundation and created a ‘Zumba Extravaganza’ at Croydon High Sports Club, in Croydon.  Leeann Lok was the lead instructor and worked closely with Anna Kennedy OBE, Charity Champion Mala Thapar and JT Foundation contact Teresa Rusmi to ensure this was a success.

The top Zumba instructors were brought together by Leeann to create a dynamic and electric atmosphere. The legendary ‘The Power Twins’, travelled from Uxbridge and opened the event with Anna giving a great speech followed by a warm up, the positive vibes continued until the very end. Together it was a fun filled and successful event and the participants were looked after and offered refreshments (donated by Juanita Gadsby at Sainsburys) and cakes (donated by Victoria Tomison and Sharon Leggett) for the cake sale.

We would like to say a special thank you to Ceri Grimwood, the Sports Club Manager at Croydon High Sports Club for being so supportive and helping both charities and making this happen, alongside Grayce Joseph for securing the location. Raffle prizes were given by businesses and loyal supporters in the area, including Selsdon Park Hotel who generously donated a three-course meal for two at their restaurant.

A massive appreciation to instructors that generously went out of their way and gave their time to Leeann for the charities were Grayce Joseph, Cerise Lindsay, Helen Woolley, Marianne de Almeida, Jelena Mirosnikova, Susanne Marston,  Gabriel Daniel Borozescu,  Adrian Borozescu, Harriet Kitty Lovell and Teresa Rusmi.

A massive thank you to Charity Champion Beverly Ann Guest and Chris Guest for travelling down especially to help out – superb teamwork!

And a big thank you to everyone who attended and making this a success!
