Mandatory learning disabilities and autism training officially launched

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism for nurses and other health and care staff has been officially launched in England today.
 
The training is named after Oliver, whose death shone a light on the need for health and social care staff to have better training on learning disabilities and autism, and has been campaigned for by his parents Paula and Tom McGowan….Click here to read the full article
