Autism Show – April 2024

This month is Autism Acceptance Month and All Things Autism In Essex returned with Aston and regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE from Annakennedyonline and they spoke to amazing guests.

The first of Aston & Anna’s guests were Samantha Grierson & Liz Crutchley.

The second of Aston & Anna’s guests was Kyle Eldridge.

The third of Aston & Anna’s guests were Alphonso Archer & Lakhile Dlamini.

Anna had this to say after the show:

“Another great show in the month of April, Autism Awareness Month talking all things autism and awareness in Essex

We had 5 fantastic guests that joined us

Samantha Grierson and Liz Crutchley  – Sam has an upcoming film premier on 9th May at the Mockingbird Cinema in Birmingham.

“The Programme” is a short film written and directed by Sam Grierson:

“The Programme” is a film about who we are and our understanding of neurodivergence and the idea of seeking a “typical existence”.

Samantha and Liz will be fundraising for Anna Kennedy Online which we are so thankful for

My second guest was Kyle Edridge – Kyle has just experienced going abroad for the first time by himself and he went to France to stay with a host family twinned with the town he lives in.

Alphonso Archer and Lakhile Dlamini  were my final guests, Lakhile has performed at Autism’s got Talent a couple of times and has now released an album, we played his single on the radio and his face just lit up, it was a pleasure to see.

Don’t forget the closing date for Autism’s got Talent is end of May and the closing date for the end of The Hero Awards is end of August

Look forward to seeing Aston in May and speaking to some more guests.”

All Things Autism in Essex will return soon.
