This is me at five years old, I was a quiet, shy little girl in a white dress, full of innocence and curiosity.
Little did I know then what my adult life would become….
Â
The journey ahead would be filled with challenges, determination, and a deep passion to make a difference for autistic people and their families.
Â
As a mum, there were times when life felt tiring, overwhelming, and dance became my escapism , this was my and still is my respite, my way to breathe, reflect, and keep going.
It gives me strength and joy and recharges my batteries when I need it most.
Â
Now at 66 years old, I look back with gratitude at the path life has taken me on.
Â
From that shy little girl to dedicating my life to advocacy, awareness, and change ,it has been a long bumpy journey and a one of discovery about myself that I could have never  imagined.
You just dont know where life will lead you, and continues to lead me.
Happy Birthday to me 🎂
