A small charity with a big heart — championing autistic people and their families ❤︎

Anna Kennedy Online (AKO) is a small charity with a big heart, founded to support and champion the autism community. We exist to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and celebrate the strengths and talents of autistic individuals.

Our Story

Founded by Anna Kennedy OBE — a mother, educator, and campaigner — our journey began with the opening of a school when suitable education was not available for her two autistic sons. That spirit of action continues today through Anna Kennedy Online.

Since 2009, AKO has grown from a small website into a vibrant community. We share resources, amplify voices, and build initiatives that celebrate talent and create inclusion.

JAAQ

Anna Kennedy Online partners with JAAQ (Just Ask A Question), a pioneering mental health and wellbeing platform that uses interactive video to make information accessible. Through this collaboration, Anna Kennedy OBE and the charity share lived experience and professional insight on autism and inclusion, helping to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide trusted support for families, professionals, and autistic individuals.
