What families and performers say

Autism’s Got Talent was a treat—an inclusive, flexible space full of like-minded people. Oscar was transfixed, inspired by performers who’ve embraced their talents. We were blown away by the talent and community; from red carpet to finale, everyone is seen and included—the highlight of our year.

Since meeting Anna and the team 10 years ago, we’ve felt included and blessed. AKO isn’t just a charity—it’s a family.

“Autism’s Got Talent has given me the confidence I never had. I’ve made friends, learnt new things, and seen incredible performers. Thank you to Anna Kennedy and the team for believing in me and helping make my dreams come true. If you’re autistic, have learning disabilities, or use a wheelchair, you can still chase your dreams and share your talents.

Autisms got talent is a wonderful positive inspirational show. Being part of the audience & watching my son Charlie and all the other individuals perform makes me immensely proud & emotional listening to everyone’s journey & then being blown away by such incredible talent. ‘Autisms Got Talent’ really does allow individuals to shine & is such a wonderful opportunity & I have always felt it such an honour to be in the audience & watching the performers grow with confidence throughout the day, it is all such a positive experience that should not be missed.

Singing at Whitley Bay Playhouse a few weeks back, was an absolute pleasure, not only to thank my friends and family for their support but also to thank Anna Kennedy Online and all the amazing volunteers that provided myself and the amazing performers the platform to showcase our talents. Not all heroes wear capes.
