All Things Autism in Essex – With Aston and Anna

Autism Show – April 2025

April is Autism Acceptance Month and Aston was joined on Daytime by his regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE from autism charity Annakennedyonline as they chat All Things Autism. They spoke about upcoming autism events which include an art event and a charity football match.

The first of Aston & Anna’s guests was Hazel Lim.

The second of Aston & Anna’s guests was Annakennedyonline patron Steven Smith.

The third of Aston & Anna’s guests was Chris Cooper from United For Charity.

Anna had this to say after the show:

“Another great ‘All things Autism in Essex ‘ with Aston and our guests for the month of April which is also Autism Acceptance Month.

Last Friday was our charities 15th year of Autism Dance Day and we received so many wonderful videos from individuals and groups. Aston had been rehearsing his tap dance routine for Autism Dance Day for months . It was so good with impressive rythms.

Our first guest was Hazel Lim.

Hazel Lim a mother of sn autistic young person and a Senior Project Manager and Multilingual autism specialist.

Hazel is a mother to Noah, a past winner of our Charity Autism Hero Awards in 2019.

Both Aston and I were shocked to here that in China Autism is classified as a disease and some individuals believe you can catch it. Hazel wrote a beautiful piece for our charity website here is the link;

“Our second guest was our charity Patron Steven Smith no stranger to Gateway Radio

Steven spoke about our first Charity Autism and Art Exhibition at Firepit Galary in May.
