Anna took to stage on 25th November 2018 for her final dance with Robin Windsor at the famous Novello Theatre West End .
Robin is hanging up his dancing shoes after a long and successful career and all profits on the evening raised funds for ‘The Make A Difference Trust’prior to his departure to St Lucia in February 2019.
From their journey together on Comic Reliefs Peoples Strictly Anna Kennedy OBE has been performing with Robin at various dates in his Farewell Tour. Both Anna and Robin received a perfect score of 40 the Elstree Studios for their Charleston. Anna and Robin received a standing ovation when they performed an ever-faster Charleston than three years before.
The message was inspirational and that as a team he brought joy and raised Autism awareness through the opportunity of the People’s strictly.
Anna’s friends and family attended to celebrate their final Charleston and thank Robin for his friendship and support for Autism’s Got Talent where he has attended and supported the Charity and been part of the AKO family for many years.
Robin was joined by special guests from throughout his career which included:
Alison Hammond, Gaby Roslin, Chizzy Akudolu, Vincent Simone, Kerry Ellis, La Voix, Ali Bastian (Strictly Come Dancing), Pasha Kovalev (Strictly Come Dancing), Anya Garnis(Strictly Come Dancing), Rachel John(Hamilton), Harriette Mullen (Cilla), Lisa Marie Holmes (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Ricky Rojas (Moulin Rouge Broadway) and Rebecca Lisewski (Tango Moderno).
The incredible artistry and production brought an emotional night had outstanding dance routines, fun, cheeky chat and plenty of sparkles in this incredible action-packed extravaganza that reflected Robin’s energetic personality and journey.
The audience were taken on his unforgettable evening through his most memorable moments and performances of his dance career with his team of professional dancers and special guests which left the audience mesmerised and an evening to always be cherished by everyone.
Anna shared ‘ It has been a once in a life time experience and I have rediscovered fun and my love of dance. I always focus on my charity work and raising autism awareness and acceptance through our UK Autism Charity and raising our two sons. I had forgotten to do things just for me. I am sad to see Robin go however I am forever grateful that I shared this experience with him.’
Their friendship will always be forever and this was a journey for both Anna and Robin that will continue as always.
