Anna Kennedy OBE attends the Autism Allotments
On July 6th, Anna Kennedy OBE attended the grand launch of the Autism Allotments.
The project was founded in 2023 by Paul and Michael Atwal-Brice, dads to two sets of twins. Their oldest boys, Levi and Lucas, are autistic and have epilepsy. As a family, they have campaigned tirelessly to make a difference for families like theirs, understanding the challenges of finding suitable safe spaces for their boys to enjoy, especially as they get older. Â
Anna shares, “I had such a lovely day at the launch of the Autism Allotments with families and their friends. What a fantastic place! I was blown away! A huge well done to Paul, Michael and their team of volunteers for creating this special place. I know how much hard work and love has been put into making this excellent centre. I especially love my friend Robin Windsor’s tree in the quiet area, which reminds me of special times with Robin. We sent his family a short video of the specific area; this beautiful tree and plaque touched them. I am very proud to be a patron.Â
One of our charity ambassadors, Kieron Lee, created a video to celebrate this amazing launch. Please see the video below as posted on YouTube and show your support by liking and sharing it.Â
