What’s it about?
A children’s book celebrating 100 neurodivergent people, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and Tourette’s, who achieved remarkable things as scientists, artists, athletes, and entrepreneurs.
This book really touched my heart.
As a mum to two autistic sons, the wife of an autistic husband, and the founder of a charity supporting autistic people and their families for over 25 years, I could relate to so much of what was shared.
This book celebrates neurodivergent people for who they are. It doesn’t focus on labels or limitations; it shines a light on strengths, individuality and the importance of being understood and accepted.
Reading it made me think of my own family and the thousands of families I’ve met over the years. Every journey is different, but every person deserves to be valued for who they are.
I closed this book with a smile and a feeling of hope. I’d happily recommend it to parents, carers, teachers and anyone wanting a better understanding of neurodiversity. The more we understand each other, the kinder and more inclusive the world becomes. 💜
