Lucy's Autism Allotments Fundraiser
You may recall from a previous article that Lucy was looking to do a sponsored walk to help to
assist in her learning about helping others. Of course, we chose to do this in honor of AKO and
the Autism Allotments.
I am happy to announce that we raised a total of £400 which is just amazing and the money will
be split between the two charities.
We did this as a family so hats off to the children who walked the 5k with very little complaining!
We literally had blood, sweat and tears. Our children don’t do walking at a standard pace so
ended up running and tripping over causing a few cuts and bruises but after some TLC from
Daddies they were soon on their way.
As I’ve said previously, we have wanted to do some fundraising but this really went hand in hand
in trying to educate Lucy about the purpose of doing charity work. As we did the walk, Lucy was
pointing at the logos on her top and said ‘help peoples’ which is very cute
Below is a short reel from the walk.

A huge thank you to Kellie who kindly donated t-shirts.
