‘I would like to share why my celebrity autism role model for 2026 is the wonderful Bradley Riches.
‘Bradley’s story is truly inspiring.
He was non-verbal until the age of 10 and has spoken proudly about the love and support he received from his amazing family throughout his journey. His honesty and openness about being autistic have helped so many people feel understood and accepted.
I first saw Bradley on Celebrity Big Brother, where he openly shared his autism diagnosis and quickly became loved by both the housemates and the public. It was wonderful to see how many friendships he made in the house and how positively he represented the autistic community.
I was delighted to first meet Bradley at our Autism Hero Awards 2025, where he kindly agreed to be one of our judges and present awards. Since then, getting to know him has been a real pleasure.
Bradley is now starring in Emmerdale, playing the character Lewis, and we are all so proud of everything he continues to achieve.
Like me, Bradley also loves dance, and I really enjoy watching his fun TikTok dance videos.

Bradley has also written a book called Autistically Me, which launches in June. We are incredibly grateful that he has donated a signed copy of his book along with a goody bag as a raffle prize tonight.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Bradley and his husband, Scott, on their recent marriage. We wish them both every happiness and the very best for the future.
Bradley, thank you for being such a positive voice for autism, for inspiring so many people, and for showing the world that being different is something to celebrate.
That is why, for me, Bradley Riches is my celebrity autism role model for 2026.’
I am so pleased to announce that Bradley is now one of my new Charity Patrons and will join us to celebrate Autism’s Got Talents’ 15th year in October . Whoop! ⭐️’
